Earlier today, Donald M. Payne, a New Jersey Congressman and member of the House Committee on Education in the Workforce has died. Reuters reports that he ”died of complications of colon cancer early Tuesday morning at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.” A widower, Congressman Payne leaves three adult children. Funeral services were scheduled for next week in Newark. R.I.P.
